Ian Widmer

Chief Executive Officer

Ian Widmer

Ian has spent more than 20 years building brands across international markets. He began his career at age 16 in a small retail ski shop in Southern Colorado, where he grew up. That early experience led him through several roles in the industry and, eventually, to Canada Goose.

At Canada Goose, Ian served as a senior leader from 2009 through his post-IPO exit in 2017. As the company's first U.S. employee, he led the American market during its most significant growth period. He was then asked to relocate to Zug, Switzerland. There, he focused on restructuring the business and expanding its success across more than 50 countries.

Following the company's IPO in early 2017, Ian chose to return to the United States. He wanted to focus on building his own venture. As a result, he relocated that summer and founded PBG.

Ian holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business. He also earned a bachelor's degree in American History and Political Science from Colorado College.

Clark Gundlach

Clark Gundlach

Clark Gundlach is an iconic name in the winter sports industry. His passion for big snow and the mountains first took him from the Midwest to Colorado for college. It was there that he began building his lifelong career in the winter sports space.

Over the years, Clark has gained extensive brand-building experience across the industry. He started by working both front and back-of-house roles in ski shops during high school. Then, throughout college, he operated specialty winter sports retail stores.

After that, he launched his own rep agencies in several regions across the country. Through these agencies, he represented a range of cutting-edge brands. He later spent 20 years as a senior leader at Burton, where he helped drive significant disruption in the snow industry. Following that, he continued this impact with three more years at Quicksilver, Roxy, and DC.

More recently, Clark and his wife Pam returned home to Colorado. They now live in the Vail Valley, back in the mountains that shaped his career.

Clark is a graduate of Colorado State University. He also completed the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of Business at Penn. In addition, he has served as an Executive Board Member at SIA and as a board member at SOS Outreach. He is currently an active Economic Development Board Member with the Vail Valley Partnership and the Town of Eagle, Colorado. He is also the Co-Founder and Board Chair of the award-winning Color Roasters in Eagle, Colorado.
